The Final International Conference of the MELODY project, organised in Romania by Curba de Cultură, marked the official conclusion of the project and represented a key moment to present its results to a wide and international audience.

The conference brought together project partners, educators, cultural practitioners and stakeholders from different countries, creating a space for dialogue and exchange around innovative approaches to civic education and values promotion.
During the event, the consortium presented the overall project journey and its main outcome: the MELODY Toolkit, a practical educational tool designed for teachers and educators, offering structured activities that use music as a means to foster civic engagement, participation and shared values.
A central element of the conference was the inclusion of live simulations of

selected Toolkit activities. Participants were actively involved by taking on the role of learners, while facilitators demonstrated how educators can guide and adapt the activities in real classroom or non-formal education settings. This experiential format allowed attendees to gain a first-hand understanding of the Toolkit’s methodology and impact.
The Final International Conference was not only a moment to showcase results, but also an opportunity to reflect on the future use, transferability and sustainability of the MELODY Toolkit, reinforcing the project’s contribution to European cooperation in education and culture.
👉 The MELODY Toolkit is freely available and ready to be used by educators and practitioners across Europe and beyond.
